Suffolk offers a multitude of attractions from the historic to the entertaining.
Southwold, Walberswick, Minsmere, Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Snape, Halesworth and Woodbridge are each within a half hour's drive of the cottage and are well worth a visit, offering between them everything from nature reserves, birdwatching, concerts, art galleries, antique shops, historic buildings and coastal walks.
The excellent Parham Airfield Museum is close by.
Framlingham is the closest town to Badingham village offering a good range of shops, a Saturday market, traditional pubs and a 12th century castle.
Peasenhall village is just three miles from the cottage and offers above average village amenities including a renowned butcher, post office, antique shop and tea room.
Badingham has its own 'local' The White Horse which is a five minute drive or twenty minute walk from the cottage.
There are golf clubs locally at Cretingham and Aldeburgh.
